About Minimart

Minimart is a play-money prediction market platform built for small groups — hackathons, classrooms, office pools, and anywhere else people want to put their forecasts on the line without real stakes. Every market is a simple binary YES/NO question, and traders buy shares with play tokens whose prices move along a logarithmic market scoring rule (LMSR) curve.

The goal is to make it effortless to spin up a fresh event, seed it with a handful of questions, and watch a crowd's consensus form in real time. Organizers create markets and resolve them as outcomes become known; participants compete on a live leaderboard based on the combined value of their wallet and open positions. Think of it as a market on every corner — lightweight, social, and focused on the craft of forecasting.
